Job Purpose
To produce financial statements and prepare management accounts whilst supporting the Nomina accounting and operations teams in relation to their day-to-day operational requirements, as related to their corporate activity associated with their Lloyd’s underwriting.

Accountabilities
- Production of financial statements and liaising with auditors
- Preparation of management accounts
- To assist the Nomina Accounting team to meet all its financial reporting obligations for Nameco’s and LLP’s
- To assist in the production of Holding Company and Corporate Partner financial statements
- To assist with Management reporting requirements for Lloyd’s Corporate participants
- To assist in the daily administrative and accounting activities of Nomina
- To provide support in the co-ordination of the audit of Lloyd’s Corporate participants
- To keep up to date with relevant legislative changes in respect of Anti-Money Laundering Regulations
- To represent Nomina Plc on working parties internally and externally as directed by the Line Manager
- To be familiar with the legislation and Lloyd’s requirements for Corporate members of Lloyd’s
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience of producing financial statements and being able to liaise with auditors
- Previous experience of preparing management accounts
- Strong Excel skills including being able to manipulate and review large volumes of data
- Strong communication skills to be able to build working relationships with various stakeholders including Nomina clients.
- Be able to work under pressure to tight and changing deadlines through prioritising workloads
- Accuracy and an eye for detail are essential for this role.
- The company uses a number of bespoke IT systems. Full training will be given but it is important that the candidate has good general computer literacy and confidence.
- Insurance industry experience preferred but not essential.
Qualifications
- The candidate will be a qualified accountant.
- In addition to the duties listed, the jobholder is required to perform other reasonable duties (within the jobholders’ capabilities) assigned by line management
