For 2023, Hampden manages circa £2.5bn of capacity provided by individuals, trusts and family offices. Our unrivalled Lloyd’s insurance knowledge and syndicate research has led to above market average returns. Membership of Lloyd’s offers unique returns from underwriting at Lloyd’s as well as opportunities for tax planning.
If you are interested in providing capital to access insurance risk at Lloyd’s, Hampden is a leading provider of services to reinsurers, private equity and investment funds investing in Lloyd’s in order to support a selected Lloyd’s of London syndicate. We advise £circa £3.5bn of capital sourced from reinsurers, pension, hedge and investment funds.
We have also the necessary experience and expertise of working with managing agents upon the formation of corporate members for backing their managed syndicate. Hampden has also acted as members’ agent for the successful launch of London Bridge Cell 1 in 2021 and we are at the forefront of Lloyd’s drive to attract Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) and debt capital through London Bridge Cell 2.
